Born in Tokyo, raised partly in Washington, D.C. Entered the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Humanities at Sophia University in 2017. Trained at Rudra Béjart Lausanne and the Martha Graham Dance Company in New York. In 2019 she became the first Japanese finalist at the ORSOLINA28 competition, run in partnership with Teatro alla Scala, and received the Outstanding Choreographer Award at Youth America Grand Prix the same year. She has taken part in creations with Batsheva Dance Company and choreographed for Ballet Julien Lestel and Compagnie Linga, among others. Back in Japan, she founded the International Arts Initiative, a non-profit association devoted to “rethinking the value and responsibility of culture and the arts”, and worked as a Japan Tourism Agency specialist in high-value inbound tourism, developing content at the foot of Mt. Fuji. She founded UZETSU INC. in 2026 and directs and choreographs all of its works.

Born in Kanagawa. Began ballet, rhythmic gymnastics and swimming at five, and artistic swimming at eight. Selected for Japan's junior national team at 17; team bronze at the Junior World Championships. Solo winner at the US Open and the Malaysia Open. Competed for Japan's national team “Mermaid Japan” at the World Cup, the Asian Games, the Universiade and the World Championships. After retiring in 2014, she performed in Cirque du Soleil's resident Las Vegas show “O” from 2015 — seven years and roughly 2,500 performances — and appeared alongside Hans Zimmer and Blue Man Group at the charity show “One Night for One Drop”. Back in Japan, she produced a charity mermaid show at Notojima Aquarium in support of recovery from the Noto Peninsula earthquake, drawing 14,000 visitors in four days. Joined UZETSU in 2026. She oversees aerial direction, casting and the creation of circus acts for all works.

Born in Hyogo in 1996. Licensed first-class architect. Graduated from the Department of Architecture, School of Engineering, Kyushu University, and completed the Graduate School of Human-Environment Studies. While still a student he won a string of architecture and urban-design competitions, including national selection at the AIJ Design Competition, the Jury Special Prize at Tokyo Architecture Collection and the Kyushu University President's Award (Grand Prize). In 2023 he received the JID Award Next Age Prize and the Good Design New Hope Award. At Hakuten Corporation he designed exhibition spaces for Mika Ninagawa with EiM (including “Light of the Other Shore, Shadow of This Shore” at Kyocera Museum of Art), the stage design for DAZZLE × Mika Ninagawa's “Hanayoi no Ochakai” at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, scenic elements for the Perfume exhibition and Tokyo Dome concert, and the venue design for the Ghost in the Shell exhibition at TOKYO NODE. Working across architecture and scenography, he conjures moments of the extraordinary in streets and buildings outside the theatre. At UZETSU he is scenographer for all works.

Taiko drummer and composer. Leader of Tachibana Taiko “Hibikiza”, founded in 1990 and based in Miyazaki. Recipient of the Prime Minister's Prize at the Japan Taiko Junior Competition. With Hibikiza he has toured eleven countries including France, Russia and Taiwan, and in 2025 staged the group's 35th-anniversary concert. He also composes and directs for the stage. At UZETSU he composes, arranges and performs, overseeing music that is played entirely live, with no recorded tracks.
